Gerontological Society of America: Fighting for Obesity Drug Coverage

As “the nation’s oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging,” the Gerontological Society of America recently launched a campaign in Washington to reverse a 2003 Medicare regulation banning payment for prescription weight loss drugs.
