Pfizer and others Subpoenaed in Drug Price Probe

An article posted today on kfgo.com reports that Pfizer Inc. is one of several drug companies subpoenaed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts as part of an investigation into “aggressive price increases.” Specifically, th report indicates that the inetrest in Pfizer relates to the company’s provision of financial help to Medicare patients, a practice that the investigation feels “may be contributing to the price inflation.” Read the article here…
