The American struggle to curb opioid addiction could become collateral damage in President Donald Trump\u2019s\u00a0showdown\u00a0on trade.<\/p>\n

Trade tensions with allies were heightened by the White House announcement in March of tariffs on\u00a0steel and aluminum\u00a0imports. Now, another round specifically targeting China is set to take effect\u00a0Friday.<\/p>\n
