They might remove knobs from stove burners or lock up medicine.<\/p>\n<p>But what&#8217;s less talked about is the risk of guns in the home for those with dementia.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a growing problem, as the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.census.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2018\/cb18-41-population-projections.html\">\u00a0U.S. population gets older<\/a>\u00a0and the number of people with dementia soars.
