It\u2019s not a scam or a mistake.<\/p>\n<p>Because of what the Social Security Administration calls \u201ca processing error\u201d that occurred in January, it did not deduct premiums from some seniors\u2019 Social Security checks and it didn\u2019t pay the insurance plans, according to the agency\u2019s \u201cfrequently asked questions\u201d page on its website.
