Hospices are designed to make that possible, relieving pain and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/health-shots\/2019\/04\/25\/717095214\/a-good-life-and-a-good-death-what-is-palliative-care\">providing emotional and spiritual support<\/a>.
