They are also glimpses into her future.<\/p>\n<p>On the table beside the couch sit framed pictures of her dad, Roy, and one of her sisters, Debbie, who both died from the disease. The apartment\u2019s second bedroom belongs to Stewart\u2019s brother, Mike, who at 60 years old is in the late stages of the disease. He spends most of the day in either a hospital bed or a reclining chair.
