Individuals with Alzheimer\u2019s disease release emotions, but it is more excessive and dramatic, and this emotional state can be very confusing for them. These exaggerated episodes may indicate what is called \u201cemotional lability\u201d or \u201cemotional incontinence\u201d which is caused by the progression of the disease and often are not the true emotions of the affected individual.
