For millions of qualifying Americans, this has the potential to save them thousands of dollars a year on private-health plan premiums, copays, and out-of-pocket expenses. Also, \u201cthe proposed reform could even have life-saving implications.\u201d According to a recent Stanford University study, it found \u201cthat diagnoses of certain cancers are disproportionately higher among people 65 and older, compared to those 64 and younger.
