Medicare patients make up a large part of many physicians\u2019 practices; however, physicians treating Medicare patients are seeing an income drop of more than 33 percent, according to a recent report by Omniscient Health. Why? According to the researchers, the drop is due to stagnant reimbursement, an increase in Medicare Advantage enrollment, and rising operating expenses.
