When doctors talk about a new leukemia drug from Novartis, they ooze enthusiasm, using words like \u201cbreakthrough,\u201d \u201crevolutionary\u201d and\u00a0<\/span>\u201ca watershed moment.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

But when they think about how much the therapy is likely to cost, their tone turns alarmist.<\/p>\n
