Each year, more than 300 patients with chronic pain take part in a three-week program at the\u00a0<\/span>Pain Rehabilitation Center<\/a>\u00a0at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.\u00a0Their complaints range widely, from\u00a0specific problems such as intractable lower-back pain\u00a0to systemic issues such as fibromyalgia.
