Medicare or Medicaid?
Do you know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid? Medicare provides coverage for individuals age 65 and older and some younger people who become eligible because of a disability. Medicare is primarily through general revenues, payroll tax revenues, and premiums paid by beneficiaries; however, the Medicaid program is jointly funded by the federal and state governments.
