Senator challenges largest payers to follow UnitedHealthcare, drop insulin costs

Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock of Georgia has challenged the nation’s largest payers to follow in the footsteps of UnitedHealthcare and reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket costs for insulin.

Mr. Warnock sent letters to Elevance Health, Centene, Cigna, CVS Health, Humana, Kaiser Permanente and Molina Healthcare, according to a July 25 news release. Continue reading here…
