Who out there has heard of IRMAA?

Not many Medicare beneficiaries have heard of IRMAA – income-related monthly adjustment amount- and, if they did, it came as an unwelcomed surprise. IRMAA is an additional amount added to your Medicare Part B and Medicare Part D premiums. You will only need to pay an IRMAA if your annual modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) exceeds a predetermined amount. What are those amounts?
