ICYMI: Veterans Day observances, events and discounts

In Case You Missed It: If you haven’t seen this week’s “Veterans Resources” newsletters, then here’s the news you need.

Friday Nov. 11 is Veterans Day. VA Secretary Denis McDonough and Vietnam Veterans of America will host the 69th annual National Veterans Day Observance at Arlington National Cemetery. We’ll be broadcasting the event on the official VA Facebook page. That ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. ET, and includes Vice President Kamala Harris laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The event continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by organizations that serve Veterans, and concludes with remarks from dignitaries.
