Medicare Advantage brings healthcare costs down

Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called “Part C” or “MA Plans,” are offered by Medicare-approved private companies that must follow the rules set by Medicare. Currently, 28.5 million seniors are enrolled in Medicare Advantage health plans. Yes, “it’s true that the government spent $321 more for each Medicare Advantage enrollee in 2019; however, if every senior with Advantage had been enrolled in traditional Medicare, the government could have saved a whopping $7 billion—less than 1 percent of overall Medicare spending.” Read the article here…
