In 2019 some couples will pay 85 percent of their Medicare program costs

Income brackets for Medicare Part B and D premiums have changed causing some retirees to be bumped into a higher cost tier. Unfortunately, these surcharges could take a bigger bit out of present and future retirees’ income than they may have expected.
