Deep brain stimulation may slow the progression of Parkinson’s tremor

According to a recently released study by Vanderbilt University Medical Center, deep brain stimulation (DBS) may slow the progression of tremor for early-stage Parkinson’s disease patients. The study suggest that DBS applied in early-stage Parkinson’s disease may slow the progression of tremor; however, a larger-scale clinical trial is needed to confirm the finding. Read article here…
