Americans Express Displeasure Re:Health Care System

Gallup’s annual Healthcare poll indicates that Americans continue to their healthcare system negatively, and that this view has not radically changed in decades. The poll concludes that “Seventy percent of Americans describe the current U.S. healthcare system as being “in a state of crisis” or having “major problems”  and indicates further that there is substantial divergence between Republican and Democratic views. In this most recent poll, 84% of Democrats expressed a negative view, compared to 56% of Republicans–a major shift from two years ago, when the Republican view was 80% negative and the Democratic view was 63%.
