Seniors feeling the impact of less drug plans accepting Medicare subsidies

In an article titled “Decline of Medicare subsidized drug plans leaves seniors with less choice,” Kaiser Health News reporter Susan Jaffe discusses the affect that reductions in the number of drug plans accepting full-premium subsidies is having on seniors. Being responsible for the difference between the higher premium and the subsidy can be a shock, the article notes, heightening the importance of shopping carefully during the open enrollment period.
