CMS to expand telehealth services to Medicare Advantage

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services finalized the rule to expand telehealth services to Medicare Advantage plans as part of the basic benefit package including additional telehealth benefits beyond what is currently permitted. Under this rule, Medicare Advantage enrollees may have the opportunities to receive healthcare services from places like their homes, rather than being required to go to a healthcare facility.
