Civica Rx picked Xellia Pharmaceuticals to make antibiotics for the hospitals in Civica’s network

A group of 800 hospitals created a nonprofit generic drugmaker called Civica Rx, just revealed the first two treatments they plan to make. The organization picked a supplier, Xellia Pharmaceuticals based in Copenhagen, and two antibiotics, vancomycin and daptomycin, to start with in its plan to upend the generic pharma business.
