Hearing aids might reduce dementia risk
According to a recent study in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society found people with hearing loss, using a hearing aid is associated with a reduced risk of three common health problems of aging – dementia, depression and falls. The study adds the cognitive decline is much higher among people with hearing loss and suggest using hearing aids might help delay the onset of dementia in some people. Read article here…
