The benefits of and barriers to exercising and practicing mindfulness in older adults

We all have heard that both exercise and mindfulness practice have shown to have a myriad of health benefits for older adults, but less is known why more older adults don’t engage in these practices. In a new study published in BMC Geriatrics, they report what they learned when they asked a group of older adults about the benefits of and barriers to exercising and practicing mindfulness.
