Ten drugs accounted for 63 percent of Medicare’s wasted dollars

According to new data released by the federal government, last year Medicare paid for $725 million worth of expensive medications administered in outpatient clinics that ended up being discarded. Although the amount is about two percent of what Medicare paid for infusion drugs, it is still a significant amount.  Read article here…
