More than 95,000 nursing home residents have gotten COVID-19, CMS says

U.S. nursing homes reported more than 95,000 COVID-19 cases among residents as of May 31, according to CMS data released June 4.
The updated data includes cases from 88.5 percent of the 15,400 nursing homes that receive Medicare or Medicaid funding nationwide. Of the 13,643 nursing homes reporting, 97 percent passed a data quality assurance check. Continue reading article here…
