If you are one of the estimated 27 million people who lost their health insurance along with your job due to the COVID-19 pandemic, your chance to buy your own health insurance is approaching a deadline.  For anyone who lost their job in April or May, you have 60 days to buy an Affordable Care Act plan through your state marketplace.  However, if you elect to continue your employer coverage under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), you have more time but you will have to pay the full premium.  It can be tricky to choose the best plan for you and your family, the attached article from Consumer Reports reviews what you need to know about your options.
