Insurers Add Telemedicine Coverage While Congress Ponders Options

As Congress considers Medicare expansion to include telemedicine coverage, several major insurers are moving ahead with inclusion in their plan offerings. Humana recently announced plans to expand telemedicine in its Medicare Advantage offerings in 12 states: Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia.
