The best hope of fending off Alzheimer’s
Effective medication to treat Alzheimer’s has proven elusive and it’s been more than a decade since any new drug received FDA approval; however, experts are increasingly convinced behaviors and not a pill, may be the key to securing extra years of quality life. Based on research funded by the National Institute of Aging, the Alzheimer’s Associations and others concluded healthy lifestyle behaviors yield “substantially lower risk” for Alzheimer’s disease.
