The VA’s Women’s Health Transition Training Program
Women are the fastest-growing segment of veterans with 20,000 of them transitioning out of the military just last year. However, compared to men, they are much less likely to get their healthcare through Department of Veterans Affairs even though women face greater health-related challenges after military service compared to their male counterparts. Why?
