Medicare open enrollment is just around the corner

It’s that time of year again, when you need to start thinking about Medicare open enrollment.  From October 15th to December 7th, you can join, switch, or drop a Medicare Advantage Plan or Medicare drug plan.  This month you will receive an “annual notice of change” in the mail that will include details about how your Medicare Advantage plan will change next year which include changes to your coverage, copayments, deductibles and monthly premiums.  Although it may be tempting to automatically reenroll in your current plan, but you could be missing out on possible savings.
