Understanding the various parts of Medicare and how they fit together

In the United States, about one in three people and older are enrolled in Medicare Advantage health plan.  Medicare Advantage plans often cover services that Medicare does not, and most people don’t pay extra for it.  Those unhappy with Medicare Advantage plans may find they no longer qualify for the supplemental policies or Medigap plans to help pay their medical bills or that they face prohibitively high premiums.  To avoid this situation, people should have a simply understanding how the various parts of Medicare fit together.  Read article here…
