Medicare is still treading financial water. What’s so special about these reports is that they consider the future of Social Security and Medicare 75 years into the future – something no other federal program does. During 2014, an estimated 166 million people had earnings covered by Social Security and paid payroll taxes. Sales rose 3.2 percent in June to a seasonally adjusted annual pace of 5.49 million units, according to the National Association of Realtors. “While this is good news, we can not be complacent”. Hatch’s measures would also simplify the benefit process and establish standards for medical evaluation that would be similar to those that Medicare uses.
