Supplemental benefits have grown in popularity among Medicare Advantage plans

According to a new study by Avalere Health, one in three Medicare Advantage (MA) plans will start offering new supplemental benefits related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The study shows 34 percent of MA plans will offer supplemental benefits and 27 percent of those plans will offer care and relief packages to beneficiaries.
