Affordable Care Act open enrollment season

If you are not eligible for employer-sponsored health insurance for 2021, you have until December 15th, unless you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period, to shop for an Affordable Care Act Marketplace plan. This year it’s particularly important to compare your options this year since some health insurers are entering or re-entering the market or expanding their coverage areas.  Even if you did not qualify for subsidy in the past, if you lost your job, retired early or your income changed this year, more people are eligible for federal subsidies.
