Scientists have developed a less invasive tool for predicting Alzheimer’s disease

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia with approximately 5.8 million older adults in the U.S. living with Alzheimer’s according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  An early warning sign of Alzheimer’s is mild cognitive impairment –such as having problems remembering things.  Scientists at Lund University in Sweden have developed a new less invasive and less expensive tool for predicting Alzheimer’s disease in people presenting with mild cognitive impairment.
