Medicare Advantage (MA) outperforms traditional Medicare

A new report finds Medicare Advantage outperforms traditional Medicare on several quality measures such as preventive screenings and avoiding hospitalizations. The report found beneficiaries with major complex chronic conditions had 57 percent lower rate of avoidable hospitalization for acute conditions in Medicare Advantage than in traditional Medicare.  Read article here…
