Fibromyalgia patients showed no evidence of cognitive decline
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread pain accompanied by symptoms such as depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances and fatigue. Those with fibromyalgia have also reported having issues with memory, difficulty in concentration and some mental slowness which for some people is worrisome. Those individuals are concerned it could lead to Alzheimer’s disease. Using historical data, researchers at Rush Medical College in Chicago looked for a decline in cognitive ability in those with fibromyalgia. Read article here…
