Air pollution may contribute to Alzheimer’s

Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative brain disease and the most common form of dementia. Dementia is not a specific disease but rather it’s an overall term that describes a group of symptoms. As the scientific community searches for a cure, they are learning more about the genetic and environmental factors that can increase a person’s risks of developing late-onset Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.  One area of research found brain aging processes worsened by air pollution which may increase dementia risk.  Read article here…
