Medicare enrollees could be losing out on valuable services and cost savings because they are not aware of their Medicare Advantage plan and its options. A recent survey conducted by GoHealth found 65 percent of original Medicare beneficiaries do not know that Medicare Advantage plans provide Part A and Part Coverage and one-third of the surveyed beneficiaries were unsure if Medicare Advantage and Medigap plans are the same things.
