If you applied for Medicare Savings Programs in the past and you live in New Mexico, you may want to reapply
As of January 1, 2021, the New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Service Department (ALTSD) has waived the asset test for Medicare Savings Programs. The three main Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs), cover your Medicare Part B monthly premium and that premium will no longer be deducted from your Social Security check.
