Medicare Advantage plans may pose care access barriers to rural beneficiaries

The new study published in Health Affairs found about 10 percent of rural members enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans reported care access dissatisfaction in comparison to just over 4 percent of non-rural beneficiaries. The study found it was more common for a Medicare Advantage member to switch to traditional Medicare than the other way around. Read the article here…
