Ensuring Innovation Act and Advancing Education on Biosimilars Act both passed the Senate

The Ensuring Innovation Act and the Advancing Education on Biosimilars Act were unanimously passed by the U.S. Senate last week. To lower prescription drug prices by increasing competition; these two pieces of bipartisan legislation are aimed at addressing loopholes used by companies to maintain the exclusive right to sell a drug and increasing the education on biosimilar drugs.
