Americans are underestimating their healthcare costs in retirement
According to a recent Fidelity survey reveals 37 percent of Americans think the average senior couple will spend $50,000 to $100,000 on medical care during their retirement years; however, Fidelity estimates that the typical retired couple will spend $295,000. Although it’s impossible to know the exact amount healthcare will wind up costing you during your retirement, it will help to save for it accordingly.
