Fidelity Investments recently released estimates on the healthcare costs throughout retirement for a 65-year-old couple retiring this year is $300,000. But you do not need all that money at the start of your retirement since the average retirement lasts 20 or more years. Eighty percent of the dollars quoted in Fidelity’s forecast will be spent on Medicare Part B and D premiums and the programs’ cost-sharing provisions. Read the article here…
