July price hikes have been announced for 32 brand drugs

According to GoodRx, price hikes by pharmaceutical manufacturers are averaging 3.6 percent for the month of July.  with the recent announcement of  32 brand drugs Tori Marsh, director of research says “every year, it seems like more drugs increase in July with Flintepla, an antiepileptic drug, leading the pack with a 9.5 percent increase bringing the list price to $96,000 per year.  Rising drug prices continue to hit seniors enrolled in Medicare Part D, they will face high yearly out-of-pocket costs for some expensive specialty medications, which can total upward of $10,000.
