Medicare’s 56th birthday is July 30th
On July 30th, Medicare will be 56 years old. Today, Medicare provides more than 63.1 million Americans with health care coverage. The Medicare program was created to protect people from catastrophic hospitalizations costs and encourage all Americans over the age of 65, no matter their income, medical history, or health status, to seek out primary care.
