If you plan to move abroad in your retirement, don’t overlook Medicare
If you plan on relocating overseas in your retirement or already have, do not overlook Medicare. Medicare does not cover medical services you receive outside the U.S and its territories, except in specific circumstances; however, depending on your situation and how long you plan to remain abroad, it may make sense to be on Medicare.
