Congress is considering adding dental benefits to Medicare

As part of the $3.5 trillion infrastructure package currently under consideration by Congress, Medicare would cover two dental cleanings a year for beneficiaries starting in 2028, along with other preventive services.  The legislation would also provide dental treatments such as extractions, root canals, and x-rays.
